Meet the new members
A roundtable in English built around the members who joined Circle recently: who they are, where they work and what they handle, followed by news from their jurisdictions.
This meeting was held on 14 October 2026.
Meeting recap
UK and France tighten immigration rules as Georgia eases residence requirements for new businesses
At the October Roundtable, members reported stricter settlement and language rules in the UK and France, slower processing, tax changes in Russia and Israel that tie relocation to tax residence, and easing for new businesses in Georgia.
About this meeting
The network is only as useful as the people you know in it. This roundtable opens the floor to members who joined Circle recently: each introduces their practice, the jurisdictions they work in and the client needs they handle. Members introduce themselves in groups, with questions after each group.
Then the news: changes in legislation, programmes and practice that peers should know about now. Updates from the UK, France, Spain, Cyprus, Georgia and Israel; what is changing in Vanuatu; and from Latin America, migration changes in Mexico, Argentina’s new citizenship-by-investment programme and how double tax treaties between the EU, Uruguay and Mexico work in practice. Practice only, no sales pitches.
Every member leaves knowing who does what, and whom to call when a client’s request goes beyond their own jurisdiction.
Guests invited by the Circle team join as listeners and can put their questions to members in the chat.
